Our story

Open daily since 2003 - German expertise in the heart of Zagreb

Our story began with Sandra and Krešimir Kastelan, whose vision was to bring the warmth, care, and experience gained in German care homes to Croatia. Today, with over 30 years of dedication to elderly care, together with our children and a team of 40 professionals across three locations in Zagreb, we provide safety, closeness, and genuine warmth every day — just like in a real home.

5/5

Sve pohvale cijelom osoblju. Osoblje je ljubazno, suosjećajno, susretljivo. Hrana je odlična,ukusna.Moja mama koja je bila izvrsna kuharica nema primjedbe! Čistoća i higijena su primjerene. Sve funkcionira besprijekorno.

Jeleni i gdji. Julki, na njihovim zagrljaju i lijepoj rijeci koje su znale uputiti mami, a mama je to uvijek znala zahvalnost pokazat poljubcem i stiskom ruke.

Frequently asked questions

The cost of accommodation at the Bene Vita private elderly care home starts from €1,200 per month and depends on the level of care required and the type of room.

Residents are divided into three categories:

  • Category I – independent residents
  • Category II – partially mobile residents
  • Category III – immobile residents or residents with dementia

The room type also affects the price:

  • Single, double, or triple rooms, with the option of additional comfort (e.g. private bathroom, balcony).

The price increases with a higher level of care and comfort. All pricing is transparent, with no hidden costs.

For long-term (lifetime) accommodation, we offer more favorable pricing conditions.

The price includes comprehensive care and everything residents need for a safe and comfortable life, including:

  • Elderly-adapted facilities – elevators, handrails, SOS call systems, medical beds, step-free showers, and more
  • TV with easy-to-use controls
  • Four meals per day, with the option of special or dietary meals
  • Assistance with personal hygiene and maintenance of a clean living space

  • Laundry and ironing of clothing and bed linen
  • 24/7 medical care plus weekly doctor visits
  • Medication management and delivery
  • On-site physiotherapist available 40 hours per week
  • Workshops, activities, and birthday celebrations

Everything is designed to ensure residents feel safe, cared for, and at home.

  • Permanent accommodation – for long-term care and security
