Physical therapy
Services
The Bene Vita Elderly and Dependent Care Home employs a dedicated team of physiotherapists who care for our residents.
Physical therapy is provided to all residents, regardless of age, mobility level, or severity of illness. For older adults, regular exercise is essential to maintain and improve mobility, as well as overall physical and mental well-being.
Daily individual exercises are conducted, including active, active-assisted, and passive exercises.
For immobile residents, our goal is to strengthen muscle mass, increase range of motion, and improve mobility. Physical therapy also helps prevent complications associated with prolonged immobility, such as pressure ulcers, pneumonia, contractures, and thrombosis.
Mobile residents participate in supervised group exercises aimed at preserving existing mobility.
Through physical therapy, we aim to help older adults maintain independence in daily activities and improve their overall quality of life.
